Pita Jungle - FLW

We finished a brutal hike at the nearby McDowell Sonoran Preserve and were hangry. Conveniently located down the street was pallet relief. Pita Jungle will always get 5 stars for their food regardless of location. Anything else is between Kevin and me. Kevin just know the manager Jeremy is doing a phenomenal job and makes things right. I'm looking forward to my leftovers.

Always good, healthy and fresh food. My daughter works in Scottsdale, and we have went to lunch, at this location, on several occasions, and the waiter, Tim, is very nice and usually waits on us, but he had already left for the day, and the waitress today was also nice. We will be back soon.

This place is nice, clean, and the food (including dessert) is delicious. The staff is friendly every time i go there. Definitely a nice place to go for both lunch and/or dinner.

The gyro is fantastic (minus the pickles). The San Tan double chocolate porter is great and so is the service. Excellent experience every time I go. Highly recommended!

We love Pita Jungle!

My favorite items to get here are salmon, the side of garlic mushrooms, and their smashed potatoes are very good, too. If you get a cheese crisp, by the way, it tastes amazing if you pile their garlic mushrooms on top!

If we could afford it, we would definitely eat here every week, but if we did we might take it to go because if you don't get a bench seat, the chairs are rather uncomfortable if you have any hips at all as the back of the chair come up onto the seat in an unusual way in which the chair is gripping your behind. We have been here several times and I have not changed my mind on the chairs.

The only other issue is that even if we've been when it's not busy, with only a handful of other patrons in sight, it's still quite a long wait for your food to arrive. To give you some idea, we're pretty easy-going, patient customers who are never really in any kind of a hurry. I haven't timed it exactly but it has been close to 40, 45 minutes before we got our food during pretty slow parts of the day and towards the end we tend to start wondering if they forgot we were there.

They do have an online order option, so that can easily take care of both the long wait and uncomfortable seating problems.

In spite of these minor (depending on your preferences) complaints, the food here is so delicious it (almost) completely makes up for it, so if you haven't tried this or any other Pita Jungle yet, give it a try! I think you'll like it. But maybe order to go.
