Ahnala Mesquite Room

Happy hour is great! Our waitress was delightful. We were seven in the bar, so we rearranged tables to suit our desires with their blessings. The short ribs were wonderful as were the quesadillas--and all at half price. The wines were $4 and quite good and the well drinks are also $4. Most important to some at the table--they had Kiltlifter (I think $4, too).

Carne asada tacos were incredible! My husband ordered a burger and it was great, he especially loved the french fries. Amazing service from beginning to end, too!

Our other 40th Birthday hotel and casino dinner venue for 20 people was flooded out. So we were pressed for time and planning options when we came upon the Ahnala Mesquite Room at the We-ko-pa hotel. Rebecca was our contact and our liason. She set up a custom menu complete with birthday wishes for the birthday girl directly on the printed menu. Every staff member there was accommodating, friendly, and attentive. The drinks never went empty, the food was served all together, with great timing, and was hot and beautifully plated. Sometimes when you have a large party, you worry about the restaurant pre-heating food or letting it sit too long. Not so, it was hot, fragrant, and delicious. We had no room for wanting more with a big selection of amazing choices and could barely finish dessert. Every member of the staff: waiters, waitresses, and managers came by to say happy birthday and even offered a free drink to the birthday girl. So gracious! You know your guests had a good time when they post pics of the dinner on social media and thank you again for the experience the next day. :)

Nice restaurant, free entertainment when I was there, very talented female singer performing a variety of genre. It's a loosely southwest inspired menu plus some salad and sandwich selection. If you want a bit more variety, walk over to the cafe in the casino or go to the golf club for their restaurant overlooking the golf course and desert scenery.
