What an incredible place to have amazing drinks and most delicious food. In town from CA for the weekend and stopped at this resturant because I was intrigued by the name…Dad’s modern cocktails and eatery. I was with friends and everything we ordered from pasta to pizza was home made with freshest ingredients. The drink menu has a great variety of custom crafted cocktails. The bartender Mike asked me what I normally like to drink and created me an amazing drink with Gin from Hawaii and ginger. Wow! Rob who we later found out was the chef came out to our table to make sure we were enjoying our food. We all felt the food was amazing and portions so big we had to get to ho boxes. The pizzas are created by Bill in front of us and he cooks them in this big pizza oven. Five stars does not do this place justice. I will definitely make this a destination spot next time I am in Scottsdale.

We decided to stop in for dinner and we are so glad we did! We walked in and was told we could sit anywhere so we grabbed two seats at the bar. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming with lots of families dining together.

Big Mike was making drinks and man does he know his way around a cocktail. Every cocktail was delicious. He had great stories to tell about his inspiration for a drink or why he made it the way he did (like bourbon in his take of an espresso martini). We put in an order of Buffalo wings to start. They were awesome and probably the best I've had in AZ. The menu had many great options so it was hard to choose. My husband ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the black cod. These dishes were both great and full of flavor. We can't wait to go back to try their pizza.

So I don't know where to start... This place is definitely worth an expedition trip at a bare min. We had the short rib pizza and I'm reeling. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. We started with the wings which are great and calamari which is also great. We split a house salad with steak and noshed on the pizza and had leftovers for days. I recommend the dark and stormy for a quaffable cocktail if that's your thing. I have confidence in my experience that everything is amazing. The staff is on it and keeps drinks topped off. This spot is a great date spot for something casual.

Went here for the first time the other day and I was IMPRESSED! We were in the area and searched food on Google maps. The name was catchy so we stopped in. We were a little skeptical when we we saw the sign was nothing more than a banner but we're glad we gave it a shot!
Cassandra, our bartender, was fantastic. My fiancé has a citrus allergy and Cassandra was very accommodating and took the time to make several recommendations. Both drinks that were made custom were exceptional. I ordered the Dad-hattan and really enjoyed it, too.
We made it for happy hour so we started with the Brussel sprouts and the Mac n cheese. Scrumptious! Very much worth the money and set the tone for our entrees. The portions were thoughtful and I was astonished at the quality of the food. We ate it all before we could take pictures!
We ordered the grilled cheese and blackened cod for main course and let me say, WOW! Best grilled cheese I can remember having. The Texas toast was nice and crispy and buttery. The cheese was quality and it had a unique, craveable flavor. I would go back just for it. The blackened cod was aggressively seasoned in the best way and the elote complimented it well.
We were so impressed with the food be bought a third entree just to try. The short ribs pizza was new and interesting. Worth trying but not as tasty as the grilled cheese or cod. We rounded things out with a couple desserts, the espresso creme brulee and a chocolate mousse dish. Creme Brule was BY FAR my favorite ever. It was light and creamy with a kick from the coffee flavor and that lovely crunch. The mousse was a heavier option that definitely will satisfy any chocolate craving. 10/10 got what we paid for. Will be back often!

This place has the makings of a great neighborhood bar. Really nice use of space and clean design style with a long elegant bar stretched along one wall. Very welcoming environment. It turns out this new location is a renewed concept from a previous location. The menu is very interesting with some very creative and unique items mixed with Italian classic dishes. Check their web site for the latest menu as some menu photos on Google Maps appear to be outdated. We ordered calamari and a couple of pizzas. The calamari was very tender and pretty tasty. We had the cheese pizza and their Margherita. Both were fresh out of what looked like an old-world style brick oven. The crust appeared to be hand tossed, had a great flavor, and was very nicely crisp and light. Perhaps a bit too light to support the generous amount of cheese on the regular pizza, which also made it difficult to taste the sauce underneath. Their take on a Margherita pizza seemed more like a white pizza - but it was very good. We had great service and the place had a friendly vibe to it. Good selection of beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. I spotted a few other items on their menu that I plan to return to try out.
