Gecko Grill

Today the service was excruciatingly slow. I'm sure it was a help issue but it would have been a big issue had we been under a time constraint. They have a green salsa that is excellent and very different from the norm. Their patio is perfect and the day absolutely beautiful.

We went here for a retirement party. We were on the patio the staff was amazing. We probably had 25 people in our party. The staff was very fast at getting our drinks and food items to all of the tables. The food was very good. This place is a great to kick back and enjoy. My wife and I will return. So many things on the menu we want to try.

Wow, I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. The food is actually the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. I really don’t like Mexican food because it’s usually too spicy, but my bf loves it, so we go out occasionally to places. I think this place turned me, though. Their cheese spinach sauce. WOW!!!! The service was absolutely perfect. Our waitress was awesome. Loved the whole experience and can’t wait to come back! If you’re staying at 3 Palms, this place is a MUST!!!

We LOVE Gecko Grill! A well-seasoned and well-regarded Gilbert favorite opened its new S Scottsdale location in December, '21.

The Grill is much more spacious inside than it appears from the street. Menu options and service are both excellent.

The red salsa served with chips has that wonderful smoky flavor I've missed since Ricardo's went under a couple decades ago. The green salsa is a pleasant surprise, too. Distinct hints of chopped sweet pickles, vs what we expect when we dip into - ya' know, green salsa.

Wifey and I are looking forward to getting back to Gecko, Soon!

My friend recommended this Mexican restaurant in Scottsdale. My dad and I thought the food was delicious, fast service and the place is beautiful inside. Very affordable menu and the staff is super friendly. The only thing I could suggest is offering big napkins to people. The waiter did bring them when I asked. It was a great experience and highly recommend this cute place on the corner of McDowell Rd.
