Macayo's Mexican Food

They're trying. Staff seemed frazzled and I appreciate them working together to learn and assist as best possible. 4 star only because I don't feel the value was there. A little over priced for what you get and for the flavor profiles provided. Flavors seemed off from what one would expect grim a traditional rice and beans.

Pleasing local chain Mexican eaterie new at the Shea and 101 location. Furnishing roomy. The tortilla soup was laden with chicken and pieces of avocado and tasted fresh. The fajita bowl was nicely prepared. Meat could have been warmer but overall very filling. Our server was very pleasant and patient. A do try soon in a great location.

For the size of our party of 20, we were served quickly. Good food, large menu, accommodated special diets. Handicap accessible services.

It's been a while since I have been to this restaurant. There was a location here in Scottsdale off of Scottsdale Road, but unfortunately they closed. Until recently the nearest location that I could go to was in Tempe. I got a gift card for Christmas 2 or 3 years ago, but Tempe is so far away it was hard to go there very often. Luckily for me a new location opened up back here in Scottsdale at the 101 and Shea Blvd. I was finally able to use up my gift card and I got a Chicken Taco, a Chicken Enchilada with rice and black beans and Chicken Tortilla soup with chips and salsa to start. Everything was fantastic, just as I remember. I will be definitely returning to this location again soon.

Excellent food! They maintain great quality throughout. First time eating here in awhile after our old location closed. Great food! Still the same great taste they used to have throughout the years. Fantastic food!!!
