Namaste Indian Restaurant

Better than most Indian restaurants in several ways. Sometimes you can get a sense how good a restaurant is by one visit-this was one of those times. I ordered lunch: butter garlic naan and lamb curry. Excellent balance of spices and base! Lamb was tender and not chewy, a sign that it was not marinated long enough. Price: 4/5, quality of food: 5/5, service: 5/5, ambiance 4/5 (the paintings on the wall reflect a true Indian atmosphere, and all of the chairs are cushioned, music was a bit too loud and classical Indian music would have been better choice than modern music), selections: 5/5. This is not a fancy place but they did a great job with the space.

Had dinner there last night, absolutely the best Indian food I have had in years, and I have been to India 20 times. Better than Leela Palace in Delhi. Spice levels were perfect, the meats cooked exactly right. It is very casual, so do not dress up. But get ready for excellent food. I will definitely be back.....

Just tried this place after having to return a pizza to Barros. It was delicious and packed with flavor. The coconut curry with lamb was excellent. Just an FYI the Tandoori Chicken Full is a whole chicken which I didn't not realize but also very tasty just make sure you have someone to share it with because it is a good size portion.

My roommate and I tried Namste a few moths back since she works across the parking lot from them.

We found that the food was delicious and some items were quite spicy (unexpectedly).

Overall I found the food to be good, but the portions could have been better (at least for take out orders) and their prices could be a little more competitive with that of other Indian restaurants which are just as good or better for some items.
