Old Town Tortilla Factory

Went here with some friends and had a blast. Was a great location with a fun upbeat environment. The food was good (a little over priced) the staff was amazing. The water was good, you have to pay for chips and salsa 😑

First the good: Love this place and that they still offer a "daily" tortilla flavor with butter. When we went it was cheese tortilla with garlic butter. As usual they were so good!!! The food was excellent, as always. I tried their virgin mango margarita (designated driver) and our was very good and tasted like real mango, not artificial at all. Pics of food attached. The parking lot is small and was full when we got there at 6:30 pm but i found parking on the street across from Valley Ho Hotel.

What I wasn't happy about:
I had called 4 days before, but no one picked up to make reservations for party of 6 for dinner on Saturday night. The machine said to leave a message and I'd get called back about my reservation, but never got a call. We still tried and they were able to accommodate us, but not outside. Apparently the patio is booked out 2 months in advance, so just be aware. I did noticed that when we left at 8 pm, there were some tables on the patio open, so maybe if you do late dinner you'll get lucky to sit outside.

Do NOT get the top shelf Margarita. Our friends are connoisseurs and the top shelf Margarita was weak and it does not come with a little extra shot glass of the Gran Marnier. When our friends complained it tasted weak and that there wasn't an extra shot glass the waitress just brushed it off with "it's already mixed in, that's how we do it here". So the top shelf wasn't worth the extra $. We wouldn't order it again.

Great place to sit outside and have some drinks. It's a chill laid back vine with delicious food. We got the sampler tray, the mole, Oaxaca bowl and flan. All well made and packed with flavor. The flour Tortillas with butter served in place of bread were great.

The atmosphere and margs are amazing. Food was good, service was OK. But overall our experience was great. Very few things can beat sitting out on the lovely patio while sipping margaritas on a beautiful evening.

Great margaritas. A friend had a dish served cold but the server did not hesitate to replace it quickly. Queso fundido with chorizo was tasty. Old Town Tacos were tasty. Would have Iiked if the tortilla shells and chips were handmade with the name of the restaurant. Worth a visit.
