Hanging Gardens Mediterranean Food

Had the beef shawarma sandwiches. The meat was tender and delicious. The execution of the sandwich was lacking. Loved the bread but it was so thin, it fell apart. Couldn't eat it as a sandwich. Needed more flavor, more pickles, onions, tomatoes, parsley etc ... Also nothing had salt. It's the most annoying thing when you have to salt your food, specifically when it's falling apart. Also the sandwich was very greasy. I kept having to wipe my hands from the dripping grease. But like I said, the meat was amazing, that's why I gave it 4 instead of 3.

We went to Hanging Gardens last night with a few of our friends. This was the second time my wife and I have been there. The first time was when we went there looking for a store and just went in for a quick lunch. We really enjoyed it the first time so we went there for dinner.
This family owned restaurant is very nice and clean with all new tables and booths.
We had the lamb shanks which were really good and our friends had other dishes that looked
very good. Everyone enjoyed what they had and how reasonable the prices were.
I am sure that we all will return.
So much better than all the chain restaurants that are all over this area.

My friend and I went there for lunch today. I had a chicken shawarma wrap and fries. My friend had pita and hummus with a grilled chicken. We we treated to their lentil soup that was out of this world. Everything that we ate was delicious. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the service was great. I had a little chat with the owner, a super nice guy! I highly recommend this restaurant and I am definitely going back!

We liked the food, cleanliness, clean smell, super friendly staff and background music. Will be back.

Hands down the best kabob restaurant in AZ! My favorite is the 3 meat entree and the appetizers are awesome but everything is just really good here. Wife loves the Shawarma, especially the wrap.
