Firehouse Subs Surprise Village

Their subs taste delicious every time. Love that you can round up change top next dollar amount to support firefighters. My favorite is the Italian sub and the patato soup.

This was my first time at a Firehouse Subs, and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with the atmosphere inside the dining area,from the open seating to the firehouse decor and plaques honoring various firehouses. I instantly greeted 'Welcome to Firehouse' by all the staff as if they were in competition to see who can greet first, also very friendly and easy-to-read menu board. Quality ingredients. I ordered my free birthday medium steak and cheese sub for joining the rewards club via email, and a large drink. Their steak and cheese sub is scrumptious, I will be returning.

I don't usually review a place the first time I go. But I'll make an exception..

Firehouse Italian sub. Much better than I thought it would be. However, next time I'll ask for no lettuce. For whatever reason, I just don't like shredded iceberg lettuce. Large (12"), with coke (they have my favorite kind of coke machine... cherry vanilla is a weakness of mine), and chips combo, and a few cents to the firefighters foundation, $15.00 out the door. Also. They have a variety of hot sauces on the counter. I tried the firehouse brand and it's not bad. Very sweet. Not much spice. They have hotter sauces but no Dave's insanity. Which was a bit of a disappointment. But.. overall, very good. Friendly staff and clean establishment.
