Over Easy

The blood Mary was very tasty and the flight pictured was mimosa’s ( raspberry, pear, dragon fruit and I can’t remember the last one) I personally am not a fan of mimosas but my husband said they were okay. We both shared a plate of the wolf hash browns which was more than enough the servings are very generous and that was delicious. Great atmosphere and we had a lovely server.

The wait staff at Over Easy were excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and served correctly. She made sure I got extra potatoes with out additional charge and kept our coffee cups full. The down side to this restaurant is the noise. It is a typical strip mall restaurant with absolutely no ambiance. It is difficult to carry on a conversation and extremely uncomfortable. The coffee was great, bold and rich. The potatoes were cooked perfectly, but the omelette was tough and over cooked. Sourdough toast was good even tho only one slice was served. We do not intend to return, but if it was in its own restaurant building set alone, we would.

We have eaten here 3 times since they opened. Food is great! Service needs work. Every visit the waitress has been good rt up until the food comes then they disappear. First visit it took 15 mins for the waitress to bring my toast and I had to ask for it twice. Last 2 visits our drinks have gone empty and we were never offered a refill. They have a great concept here with great food. They just need to work on some training.

Over Easy didn't pop to me. The service was not bad. Food wasn't anything special. It's a neighborhood spot to go to but don't expect any interaction with the servers as they did not really talk to us besides to introduce themselves, take our order and give us our food. No recommendations, no asking if we've been here before. Nothing. If you just want to go eat somewhere and be left alone to eat. Then this is the place for you. Pricing wise is good, about the same as Hash kitchen but way less food, less of everything. I really was excited for this place but was very disappointed. I'll drive 20 minutes to Peoria and wait an hour to be seated at Hash Kitchen then to drive 5 minutes away to eat here.

First time there, food was amazing. A little bit of a wait, but not to bad. Once you have there food. It's worth the wait.
Our waitress was amazing. I think her name was Amber. Very nice.
