Quench Taps and Tapas

I visit this place almost weekly!!! Atmosphere is great, Jeff and his wife are the owners . She’s does wonders in the kitchen!! Charcuterie boards is one of my faves as well!! They have live music on Saturdays! Definitely worth checking out!! ❤️

Surprise just got their best restaurants so far in the hood! Outstanding tapas, the steak and chicken skewers were phenomenal, and the smoked mozzarella dip was out of this world! Had the unique opportunity to meet Angie who is the chef and owner and everything on the menu can be gluten free!

Not knowing that this place was in Surprise was actually a surprise to us. We decided to stop in an check it out. The place is new and is a great place for some small foods and drinks. We also got a chance to speak with one of the owners who was very nice and explained what their place was about. We ordered the Cuban sandwich and some drinks and it was delicious. We are going to try the charcuterie board next time we are in.

Great concept...a cute place to meet with friends over drinks and apps. We shared a few small plates: honey bourbon chicken skewers, bread basket with a trio of spreads, and the best part was a special: flatbread of Pineapple prosciutto with bechamel sauce. That Flatbread was so good we ordered another! I enjoyed the Clover Club Gin drink and the special strawberry basil rita... both were refreshing without being too sweet.

I gave it 5 stars for the concept, service, and ambiance! It’s great to have a nice, local date night restaurant. Some of the food, the caprese dip and olive oil citrus cake were fantastic. Some of the food, the steak frites and chicken skewers have a lot of potential. The chicken was a bit over cooked and dry and the steak frites had perfectly cooked steak bites and a tasty horseradish sauce but 2/3 of the chips were dry. My husband and I will definitely go back because we enjoyed the relaxing meal and great service. I
