Ahipoki Bowl

One of my favorite places for a a quick lunch. I had a 2 scoop regular salad with shrimp and salmon. Poke is fresh and plenty of sauce and veggie options.

I'm been to
this place many times and they have fabulous food. It's like a Chipotle but for sushi and seafood. They're really different flavors and styles and you need to take time to check out see which one you love.

I was really disappointed when I requested and was denied to be served Fresh product due to the grayish sad looking Tuna that was resting in the basin. There was 5 scoops of Tuna in the basin of Tuna Luau. It was obviously there for awhile and once I bit into it, I was met with a disgustingly fishy flavor that overwhelmed my mouth. I spit it into my napkin, Which was actually a first ever for me. I took a closer look at the tuna and it was slimy and grayed. The male said it was the same batch that had been set out since he clocked in for the day. It seemed like the staff were very unconcerned for a few moments and disnt even realize that while they served other customers I had set my entire bowl on their counter and waited for them to acknowledge me for 7 minutes after bringing the product back professionally and quietly. The manager remade my order after but it was really disappointing to Factfully point out a product is old looking and to be denied fresh product is wrong. I may be a cancer patient that shouldn't be eating raw foods but I enjoy it. Id rather not get sick.

I was kinda disappointed at my order... Mind you I spent more than 50 bucks on my order and it just didn't taste right. I'm an islander and I'll tell you this, I know a Good poke fish when I see one but this time it was just not right. It was lacking flavor and the Masago it looked like you used your finger and just wipe it slightly on the rice. I was just not happy. This rating is not to ruin your restaurant reputation but I hope it can help you guys do better. We all have our problems every now and than and we honestly don't expect anything perfect but just know with a fine price i'd expect a better takeout. Thank you!
