Pizza & Grill

We ordered Pizza, Gyro, Fish, and Rice with broth. The food was cooked to order. A lot of fresh veggies. We seemed to have been treated with respect. I thought the food was costly and not abundant. The rice reminded me of boxed Rice a Roni. The pizza was full of ingredients that were raw on top of a baked pizza. The Gyro plate was full of raw veggies and about 2 to 3 ounces of meat. The fish was not meaty and came with 2 pieces of flat bread. It was edible but it was not worth $60. It should have been in the $30 range. We ate inside and it is very small about 4 small round tables. No air conditioning and door open made it easy for flies to pester as you eat.

Excellent service. Excellent food. Had the Mandi and it was delicious. Loved the combination of pizza and Halal food. There are so many options to choose from.

This is not a typical “Pizza & Grill”. The name does not do it justice. It’s authentic Greek and Mediterranean cuisine in a small restaurant. I’ve been to Tempe twice in the last 6 months and am so glad I discovered it right across the street from my hotel. Soooo good!! Must try if you haven’t. Oh, and the owner is super friendly and helpful.

They do not mess around with their pizza! Best place to go in this area. The veggie pizza has some unexpected surprises... well not to me because I come in here a couple times a month or more. Also the grilled fish and chicken is good here too. They mostly have Mediterranean food.

Nice place. Food was very good. Hassan was awesome. Enjoyed the small home like atmosphere. Ate lunch there. Quick and easy bite. I would like to try the pizza. I had Gyro over rice with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, black olives on the side and a bowl of potato soup in a tomato type broth. Very filling.
