Cafe Lalibela Ethiopian Cuisine

This place is amazing! I drive an hour just to get it. The flavors are absolutely amazing, the greens whew outstanding! Please go visit if you’ve never tried Ethiopian food or if you’re craving this place is top tier Ethiopian food. I am in love! ????

I just felt I needed to share about Cafe Lalibela.

I eat their Ethiopian food all the time. As a vegetarian, this restaurant is a staple. I eat in, drive up for their pre-made meals, and buy their food from Whole Foods. I most recently stopped by about a week and a half ago for take out. I had a friendly conversation with the owner and let him know how much I loved their food and how often I buy it from them and/or Whole Foods. He told me they just released a new wrap (Spicy Humble Wrap) and put a free one into my take out bag. It was so kind, and absolutely delicious. The food is delicious, the people are kind, and they support cultural diversity in the Valley. Your money couldn't go to a better place.

10/10 Stars!! Would reccomend this place to anybody who enjoys good, healthy food made with LOVE ???????? The owner is one of the kindest, hardest working people I have ever met.

She is always working around the valley @ grocery stores, doing tasting samples.

One day when I was at work for 12+ hours, with no food in my belly, she noticed I was low energy and fixed me up a hardy plate as if I came into her restaurant, no charge, no questions. Just a warm hug. Check this place out, you won't regret it! And if you enjoy her food, it can be purchased at Natural Grocers in the frozen section as well????????

Deliciously different food in Tempe. Friendly staff, interesting food choices and everything was delicious. I'd recommend a plate with multiple entrees as you'll be able to better get a feeling for what you like. Plenty of choices to fit different tastes!

Awesome food with consistently good service. They helped get around my severe dairy allergy, and the flavors were very rich. Perfect for lunch or dinner with friends and family. Would recommend to anyone who wants to try something new and unique. ????
