Incredible restaurant. Lamb on weekends is a must. Staff is friendly and detail-oriented. You will find dishes and ingredients that are uncommon and not served at your average Valley Mexican spot. Specialities from the Hildalgo región mean that you get transported to the Mexican state but you only have to get yourself to East Tempe by the Mesa border. Food is well spiced and made with care and heart. Give this place a try! You will be well rewarded.

Omg, they have the worse margaritas in the world, no bartenders during the day. The food was ok. Maybe dont go for lunch. Night and weekend would be better.

Had some different offerings than the usual or typical mexican restaurant, service was very attentive and good. Down side is there was some sort of smell drifting from back, doesn't leave a good impression. Other than the smell and its behind another building this is a humble seemed family owned small venue and it was visited by several who knew it was there. I had driven by several times over years and didn't k ow it was there. Food was good, service good, hopefully the smell gets handled and it will be a place to visit for sure.

Great service and very traditional Mexican all the way down to the menus in Spanish. I stuck with what I knew but want to branch out and take their suggestions next time. Looks to have a full bar. Prices very reasonable for the area. Fairly small seating area but open seats on my visit. Even a bar to sit at. Only bottled beer from what I saw.

The food was very good. If I were rating the food alone it would be a 5. There were some language issues though. I'm very glad my boyfriend speaks Spanish or I seriously think I couldn't have eaten here. They realized he spoke Spanish and proceeded to ignore me and some only to him and only in Spanish so that was off putting. Good food and nice decor though.
