Thai Basil

Thai Basil is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants (I live just a few blocks away!). Our typical order is red curry medium with shrimp and the yellow curry medium with beef, and of course we vary it with their specials and other dishes from time to time. Their team is always friendly, and we do takeout fairly regularly. The only downside is how expensive it can get, but we usually stretch our curry orders into two meals! Friends will argue with us about our favorite Thai food in Phoenix and we always say Thai Basil!

This is such an awesome Thai restaurant. I love my green curry, it was really green and creamy and frothy. I ordered a 2in spiciness, and it was not as spicy as other Curry I have had. I also try the potsticker, they were amazing and I wholeheartedly recommend them. Finally, I tried to Pad Thai. Also another hit, I ordered it with chicken and it came with bonus tofu so that's a plus.

Food is always amazing here. My wife tried a dish with lamb that we both loved. Service was a little lacking due to large volume of customers. Otherwise a wonderful experience.
