Being in Wickenburg, AZ and not stopping at the Ornery Hog would be like going to Maine and not eating seafood. Ridiculously delicious brisket (practically melts in your mouth) and sumptuous cornbread. Prompt and friendly service. I felt like I was seeing old friends. Can’t recommend the Ornery Hog highly enough.

I travel a lot for work and hit up all the great barbecue spots along the way. I have to say this was one of my favorites. Consistent, excellent flavor across the board on all the meats as well as the delicious sides. A must try when in the area!

Just happened in this gem. Felt like family from the moment we walked in the door. Best "Q" I have had in years. Bought more when we left to take home. Definitely will be back. Loved it.

Oh my God.. The coleslaw, the potato salad.. The baked beans are insane, almost like a chili but not. And then the brisket sandwich, dang. In the 9 years I've lived in Arizona, this is the best "cowboy" meal I have had! I enjoyed the meal with a nice IBC root beer.

Hands down the best BBQ in Wickenburg!! Friendly staff, great customer service. The brisket was very tender with incredible flavor and the pulled pork was equally exceptional. The potato salad was one of the best and the cold slaw was delicious. Highly recommend trying this place!!
