The best pies around, we had pecan and lemon meringue and they were delicious! Wish they did a sampler of 4 small slices so we could taste the other flavors! The garden out back is a great place to sit and enjoy the pie!

Staff was super friendly and the food was piping hot and fresh. I do not recommend the water. It tastes like the inside of a rubber glove smells. Not sure why. I bought a bottled water instead. About an hour after I left, I was wishing I'd had pie. It looked yummy.

Great food and ambiance. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. There’s a gift shop area also with interesting and desirable items. It’s well worth one’s time to stop and take a break from the highway.

We have driven by this restaurant for years and never stopped. What a great experience we had been missing. We started with the world famous black walnut cream pie and left with 2 full pies as well. Best pie ever, huge walnut pieces, creamy and yummy. We also got a slice of coconut cream pie to go. All pies are fresh made. Beautiful covered patio outside felt like we were on vacation somewhere nice. Dog friendly patio which is very important to us. The peacock roamed around showing off his display of tail feathers. Very relaxing. We had the huevos con machaca, oatmeal with brown sugar and the french toast. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. We strolled through the grounds and visited the gift shop. This is truly a hidden gem. We are already looking forward to going back to try more menu items. Highly recommend

We stopped in to look a the jewelry after a trip on Route 66. Rose was so helpful friendly and wonderful! We were so surprised to see that there is a beautiful courtyard out back with a fountain and lily pads. We also had some delicious pie and even brought home a whole apple pie hot out of the oven. We will stop here again and enjoy the courtyard.
