Reuben Heflin Restaurant

Enjoyed a traditional Navajo Taco which was very good. It's all about the fry bread! Taco toppings felt minimal, esp in terms of meat, but all flavors matched well. Service was very slow.

They are only getting three stars from me because all I had was dessert. Well, my wife and I just had dessert. I had the cinnamon bread pudding and my wife had the local special. Mine was great, hers tasted like a board walk funnel cake with ice cream on top. That sort of took me by surprise because we're in the middle of the dam desert so how can something taste like it just came from the boardwalk.

Great dinning experience. I believe that covid has affected staffing I am very patience and enjoy my surroundings so if you're in a hurry this is not a fast food restaurant, it is casual and you are allowed to enjoy the dining experience. Just the right amount of visits to your table. The food was great and displayed properly on the plate and prepared as requested. When requesting dessert the server could see that we wanted to share and advised that our choice was enough for two which we enjoyed. We'll done to the whole staff.

Limited menu. Pizza was soggy. Loaded Navajo fry bread was good. Lots of chili, cheese and salad on top.
