BUBB'S GRUB Texas BBQ

Always friendly. Food is usually brought out hot but fries are occasionally limp as if they've been sitting around. Brisket is good as are the burgers. Overall one of my favorite local places to eat.

This was my first time to Bubb’s. The restaurant had a very friendly environment. The staff was very welcoming. The menu had a lot of good looking choices. For an appetizer, we had the cheese curds. They were yummy and tasted homemade.

My wife and I went specifically looking for brisket sandwiches, they had two choices: sliced brisket or chopped brisket, I went with sliced. I also got the beans as a side and I also got the onions rings from the appetizer menu as a side.

First let’s talk about the brisket sandwich. The bun as soft and lightly toasted, it was nice. The brisket was moist and not dry, which is awesome. I do wish the brisket would’ve had more of a thick bark that I always look for in a BBQ brisket. It also came with a side of pickles.

My wife had a chopped brisket sandwich with a side of mac and cheese, she liked both.

My wife also had the house margarita on the rocks with salt in the brim. I tasted the margarita and it had a really good tangy flavor to it.

For me, that star was that massive plate of onion rings. I ordered a small size and it was still huge!

I do plan to return and no matter what I get, I’m ordering those onion rings every time!

Fantastic place! Large portions of course but the best brisket I've ever had. Their sauces are tremendous as well. And the service is always great, they even chased me down in the parking lot because we forgot our leftovers.

Our first experience at Bubbs tonight and it was excellent! The service was great and the food was even better. We had the Friday prime rib special and a 3 meat combo with pulled pork, ribs, and brisket! The prime rib was the favorite but everything was delicious! Apple crisp for dessert 😋
