Angelo's Pizza & Gyros

It's a great pizza experience. The staff was friendly, the music was great, and I liked the atmosphere. However, I only recieved one crushed red pepper container. Even though we didn't need more, it still would have been nice to have another just in case. The pizza was good and we recieved enough parmasan cheese though. Overall, great!

Might be my new favorite pizza spot in Tucson.

What I love about this spot is that it does not rely on any gimmicks or claims about its food, rather they offer simple items without trying so hard like other restaurants. If you like your pizza with a crunch and a close to perfect ratio of cheese and sauce, this is the right place. Though the prices may be a little higher than other places in Tucson, the taste makes it well deserved.

I didn't have to wait long for our food to be ready (I ordered the Gyro + Fries and a Pepperoni slice) Both items came out quickly and remained hot for quite some time. I liked it so much, I even ordered another slice to go and that slice tasted just as good as the first. The gyro itself tasted great with fresh toppings and the right amount of Tzatziki sauce. They definitely were not stingy on that,

If I lived in the neighborhood, I might be visiting this place on a weekly basis. Can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu.

The restaurant is not the fanciest, and a bit out dated, but if you don't eat food off the floor, that should not stop you from visiting.
The pizza is great. Good quality cheese. The sauce ratio is pretty perfect. We had an italian grinder and it was good as well.
The staff was friendly and very helpful.
Our kids loved playing pacman while they waited for the food.

Angelo's always has good gyros. I'd say it's my favorite spot to grab a gyro. Their other food is delicious too and staff is always friendly.
