Visiting from Colorado! This Saturday breakfast before Easter tradition is usually at a different restaurant but this year we couldn’t go there. We ended up here for the first time! Some of us got here a little before 8am but they accommodated and welcomed us in anyway to sit. The food was very good! We also caved on our diet and got a death by chocolate dessert which was amazing to. They have breads, cookies, tamales and homemade tortillas for sale as well. Establishment is authentic, clean and welcoming. Employees were very attentive, friendly, professional and informative. Food was all great! I didn’t hear any complaints from the table. If we lived closer we would come back. Thank you!!
The ambiance is great , clean and decorative ! , We may be a bit bias on menu items since we are use to more traditional plates. my wife ordered Chilaquiles and they were not what she is use too but she was ok with them. She said they were more like upgraded nachos. I order a sandwich , a bit small for my liking . Over all I would say a 4.5 but no option for that l. Gave it a 4 star for pricing. Maybe next time we will try different menu items. Service was good.
Loved the cute ambiance and layout. They sure pack a lot of character into a small location. The food was very good, as you’d expect from a Charro location. We took advantage of the “kids eat free” promotion (which ends soon!). The bakery items were ok to good. Overall we’d definitely come back, but it would probably be just with the wife and I. The kids were not super impressed.
Woah, this place was good! The fried chicken sandwich was so delicious and the vegetarian sandwich (I forget what it was called...) was SUPER fresh. The bread was so good! I liked the vegetarian sandwich better to be honest! This place is an awesome addition to the Charro restaurants!
Stopped in on a recommendation from the Tucson Village Farm. Enjoyed a refreshing salad full of local melons and greens -perfect after a sunny garden tour. Zesty tajin and pepitas added a punch of flavor. Arugula and kale were a little overwhelming for the balance of flavor, but the innovation was a worthy effort. Be sure you try the fresh salsas- they are insanely good.
