Beyond Bread

My personal favorite restaurant to eat at whenever I come through Tucson. I used to live in Tucson many years ago when attending the U of A, from 2006 to 2008. When I first moved in the area, colleagues of mine recommended this place to eat here when I was seeking something different. Also, before finishing my time at the U of A, I wound up working here before heading back to Texas.

I can personally tell you that working here was a pleasure and the seeing how everything is done here always brings me back here. That says a lot.

This is a nice place with good food and friendly service. Unfortunately, you are no longer able to get the sandwich on the type of role you want. If you only order a half sandwich. And the container for the soup is so minuscule 4 spoonfuls and it's gone. For $10. It's really not worth it.

Been going to the Beyond Bread Restaurants around Tucson for over 10 years now. Ive watched it grow from only having one location to having many locations. Somehow they’ve managed to keep their food consistently good no matter which location I’m at.

Their breads and pastries are my favorite in town especially their cookies, eclairs, and chocolate torte cake!

Definitely need to work on their pretzel recipe though. When I got one later in the day, the pretzel was slightly dry.

Really great food with good portion servings. South by southwest salad is delicious & fulfilling. The staff members are always nice and in high spirits and the wait for food is prompt. Tables are always clean and the atmosphere in the dining area is quaint and relaxing. A definite must place to eat for lunch or dinner.

I am from Bay Area, California. This coffee shop is much nicer than most places in Bay Area. Coffee is strong, tiramisu is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. Restroom is clean, we are so happy to stop and have some warm coffee along with sweet to boost our energy.
