Caruso's

I heard a lot of really good things about this place. Being from New York, I do have high standards for Italian food. The service was good but I found that the lasagna was super oily and greasy. The sauce was okay but did have a bit of a burned taste to it, almost like the sauce sat on high heat for too long and burned on the bottom.

I met the lord here. The best damn meal I've ever had. Seriously, just go. It's worth every cent. And tip your sever generously, they do a great job.

I've been going to Caruso's since I was a kid. I always have gotten their Linguine with clam sauce (white) but this time it was less flavorful than I remember after visiting again over ten years later. Definitely a Tucson staple, but expect about an $80 bill for a family of 4.

I have been going here since childhood! This is a must visit Italian restaurant and Tucson Icon. An old historic mansion welcomes you home to fantastic food. The flavors of the meals and sauces are somehow traditional, yet fresh and unique! I encourage you to go. Try the lasagna, you will not be disappointed. If you can, sit outside in the courtyard when the Tucson weather is inviting.
