Coffee X Change

I went there for the first time yesterday. It was a perfect day to sit on their patio. Even though the traffic is close, it really didn't bother me. I had Chinese chicken salad. The most outstanding thing about the dish was the chicken. It was cooked perfectly,small uniform cubes ; not dry and very flavorful. You can go there and have "social distancing" or order and use their pick-up window.

I like Coffee Exchange and have gone since middle school with my mother. I look forward to the day she would pick me up from school because I knew where we were headed after. Monday's incident will not influence me to not go but it was a tad disheartening. I do expect businesses to advertise accurate pricing. Customer service has always been great as it was yesterday. I really enjoy the happy hour in the morning because I dropped my sister off at the bus stop by Udall park and I'm able to swing by twice week since I no longer live in the area.
as I'm sure you can see from the pictures attached, it is very misleading that a small extreme is $4.95, but the receipt shows 6.20 with tax. When I inquired about it it was explained that although secret powder is included in the 4.95 price it's an additional charge (1.25), there should be parentheses to indicate that additional charge. I did not want to post this publicly because my intention is just to call attention to the misleading menu and how it could be understood as misleading, as someone who budgets and fits these coffees into their budget the little nuances like this can add up. However, I contacted them directly and no response.

**UPDATE received a response, they confirmed I was over charged and offered a remedy.

Love this place! Very conveniently located on east side. Warm and friendly service from their staff, especially loved the add on sales effort from the young man at drive thru who was asking each customer if they would like an additional shot of espresso in their drink. Kudos to whomever trainer him and kudos to the young man for using his training and asking for the add on sale! Love our local businesses!

Probably one of the best coffee places in Tucson. Very good quality and it always taste good.

I love the Coffee XChange locations here in Tucson. Consistency of the drinks and friendly service is why I love getting my coffee there. I am excited that the Broadway location opened up. It is drive thru only, for now. Carlos is doing a great job there and he makes delicious iced camel red eye lattes.
