I ate here the first week in March, before things got crazy, I would say above average food the nachos were very good, although not as good as the ones at Loews, they rush you through dinner however. The rest of the food items need more imagination and don’t taste 100% scratch made. I question if this is a scratch kitchen, for the price it had better be. This location is better then the downtown location and the portions seem to have improved since the last time I’ve eaten here. I will say if comparing this to L and J Cafe in El Paso, L and J is way better.
After a long flight, I wanted something filling and hearty. Read couple of positive reviews and came here. I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered the rice bowl (I was there at lunch) and it was super fresh, huge and lots of different ingredients. Total was 12 bucks. I ordered shredded beef for the bowl but you can eat shrimp, pork or chicken.
The service was also very friendly. I highly recommend.
Enchilada was good. Chilesroleno was not bad, but I have had better. Server was very nice. The tables are quite close to each other. Fairly noisy on a relatively busy Sunday night. We tried to go at 6 on Friday, but the wait was way too long.
The best mexican food ever. Yum. Cheese crisp was perfect. Table side guacamole was delicious. Fajitas- steack, shrimp and chicken grilled to perfection was delicious.
