El Güero Canelo Restaurant

I was here years ago and am still haunted by it, in the best of all possible ways. The decor and location aren't that memorable, but the food is really good. It's exactly what you'd want and expect, at a great price, in a spacious environment.

If you like Sonoran dogs, hot dogs wrapped in bacon with a piece of mild and delicious green chili oh, then this is the place to go! They have a very exceptional variety of condiments including all of the normal things but also adding cheese, mushrooms, charred onions, raw red onions, a variety of salsa, Etc.

It's not the best part of town, so keep your eyes open. The bathrooms and some other things could be refreshed a bit. But overall, I highly recommend it.

I thought the food was okay. Not the best tacos I've had in Tuscon but decent. I got one steak and one chicken taco. The meat was minimally seasoned but was moist and tender. Service was good.

Good Mexican food. Lots of choices for food and beverages, picture menus, accurately made food orders, salsa / condiment bar with take home food wraps and bags. This is a favorite for very casual, authentic Mexican dishes.
