El Sur

Wow, what a great find! We were visiting the area, and had a taste for Mexican food. A quick Google search showed us this family-owned place. It is always a good sign when an eatery is packed and teeming with activity! Our servers were helpful, and our food was served promptly. Be sure to try the Toritos (bacon-wrapped peppers) as an appetizer! We'll be back.

Nice and cozy. The staff is lovely. They food is absolutely delicious! The green chili enchiladas were so good I scraped my plate clean! The deep fried ice cream was a sharing size and it reminded me of churros with honey and chocolate drizzled all over! Yum! Will definitely go back!

The chips and salsa were nothing special which had me nervous about what was to come, but man, the flour tortillas were pure fuego. The tortillas at El Sur were probably the best that I’ve ever had. They were tasty and thin but very strong at the same time! The service was great. The food was prepared quickly and the waiters and waitresses were very polite and attentive. The overall flavor was really solid. I would have liked more salsa flavors to choose from, but it was a great meal. The food was fresh and I didn’t feel “heavy and bloated” like I do after some mediocre Mexican food. I would recommend this place to anyone. It’s important to note that the joint is small and pretty crowded which makes for a fun atmosphere, but probably not a good option for families or big parties looking for a more relaxing or quiet atmosphere for conversations. I was also surprised by the prices. It was a pretty good value for what you get.

Authentic "hole-in-the-wall" Mexican restaurant. Everything ordered was fabulous - I don't think there is a wrong choice here. We will definitely return! Don't miss out on the cheese stuffed, bacon-wrapped peppers!

Absolutely delicious food; fresh, & filling. The staff members are very friendly and nice. My new favorite restaurant!
