La Herradura Mexican Grill & Seafood

Really enjoyed the quesabirria that were on offer for lunch! Lunch is served until 2 if you want to try them for yourself.

The meal was delicious and portions huge. I had the crab enchiladas and my date had the stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp. We both agreed the fiid was amazing. They serve chips with a salsa (mild) and a bowl of bean dip (very good). Tried the Guacamole as well. Very fresh and flavorful. They don't skimp. Had a full selection of salsas and Tabasco on the table and plenty of napkins so you don't need to ask for any. The wait staff was a bit off... didn't ask about refills and getting our bill paid took over 10 minutes. Otherwise a perfect experience. This will be my new favorite Mexican seafood spot.

This place was a surprise. Almost comes across as a hole in the wall on the outside, but the inside is pretty and comfortable. They have a huge menu with all kinds of mexican and seafood dishes. Their kid's menu even has chicken nuggets. From a party of 8, there was not a single complaint about our food. It was all beyond good. My Costa Azul shrimp plate was mouthwatering. I was even impressed by the beans and rice! They have a full bar and all kinds of drink options, too. I tried their Jarrito preparado and prickly pear margarita. I can't wait to go back.

First time eating at this new location. The salsa was excellent. The chips also come with a type of bean dip, too. The portions on the combination plates are huge. I had a cheese enchilada and the cheese wasn't melted all the way through but was still tasty. We plan on returning.

Edited: We went back to La Herradura last night (about ten days after the first review). The food was even better than the first time that we went. My cheese enchilada was perfectly cooked this time. I also found out that they have Happy Hour until 6:00 p.m., at least during the week.
