I went for lunch and got the daily special (Wednesday) Chicken Mole. It was so good I ordered it twice!
The chicken mole was fork tender and comes with rice, beans and tortillas (they even make their own corn tortillas). The mole is a perfect combination or sweet and spicy.
It's a family owned restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The quality and dedication shows in the product. Show this place some love.
La Indita was recommended to me by a local, and I am grateful! I had the chicken mole, and it was divine. A perfect combo of sweet and spicy. The guacamole was excellent, as was the lime margarita. Very friendly and kind staff and a sweet little house-turned-restaurant. I wish I'd had room for dessert!
It was my first visit to La India. It came from a friend who had lived in Tucson many years.
The waiter let me know they make all the food themselves and use local food as much as possible. He brought me a basket of chips and a good homemade salsa.
I tried the chicken mole and a horchata. Both proved to be excellent choices. The chicken breast chunks were moist and tender and the mole, a dark rich chocolate flavor. It was as good as the best moles, I've tried in Tucson. The horchata was rich and flavorful. It was also one of the best I've found in Tucson.
I'll be back again before long and try more of their menu.
😍💋❤️ Wow doesn't even come close to describing our service and the food!! You're greeted with a smile, you feel like at home and the history and story behind the restaurant is heartfelt for sure. Her beautiful photo hangs on the wall showing pride. We will definitely be coming back because for the 1st time ever we found a place worth the 45 min drive. Best part was the young gentleman that served us is her Grandson and you can tell he holds such pride working there❣️
The best Mexican food I've had so far. They are vegetarian friendly but my meat eater family also loved their meat options. I highly recommend their potato tacos, spinach enchiladas, and cheese crisp.
