    Best tortillas in Tucson... and arguably the best tamales, too. With all the great Mexican food in Tucson, this place still stands out!

    Their flour tortillas are bomb, so are their meats, but their corn tortillas are awful. I took mine back and the woman behind the counter tried to tell me they were fine, they're supposed to be deep fried. BTW I've made homemade flour and corn tortillas since I was old enough to roll them or press them, so I know the difference between fresh corn tortillas and tortillas that have been sitting around getting hard for 2 weeks. Even week old corn tortillas from my fridge that have gotten tossed weren't this hard or stale. If it wasn't for the corn tortillas, I'd have probably given a 4 or 5 star rating because I was impressed with the fresh chorizo and their red Chile is decent.

    Yummy... quick take out... good price... great taste. Stopped for quick lunch with my son based on other reviews. Friendly.

    Be there before it opens if you want food from here on Christmas Eve. Also, don't ask for tamales on the same day...like, ever. Order in advance!
