Luke's Italian Beef

Tough times demand the best food, and Luke's really delivers! The combo is the best sandwich ever devised, hot relish is a must, closely followed by the meatball sub. And the double Chicago dog with the Best fries in town, absolutely. Why would you go to a chain when you can have the best for the same money? And they are fast on the drive-thru. Love it!

The food was alright. But my first experience was NOT great because I was taken by a work friend if mine an he was telling me he loved the food and this "meat juice" that you can drizzle on your sandwich and said I should try it. So when we eagerly arrived and ordered I asked about the juice and the tall blonde lady in glasses had the AUDACITY to tell me that the sauce did not go with the sandwiches we ordered and that we were going to "RUIN HER SANDWICH". First of all once I pay for my food its mine and I can do whatever I want to it. And second of all if I'm your customer shouldn't you WANT to sell me the damn sauce lady...?

I LOVE a good Italian beef having spent years in Chicago! I also love the Chicago hot dog and Italian sausage. You can get them all, and more, right here in Tucson, on Alvernon (just south of 22nd st).
Luke and Patty and their team are the best. Get them all with the special hot peppers and then buy some to take home!

Best Italian beef this side of the Mississippi! I had the combo, beef and sausage with hot peppers. I didn't realize how much I missed that flavor. The crusty bread, the moist beef dripping in juice. I will absolutely be coming back. (And you can buy a jar of peppers too!)

Tasty fresh off the grill sandwiches, host dogs, etc.. Fries nice & hot. Good people chatting, enjoying their food. Got a bit crowded towards the end 12:30pm.
Will def be back!!
