It used to be a good value. Has gotten way overpriced. Good selection. Always fresh.

Live in C.G. & Drive 45 mins to eat here! It's well worth the drive & hands down the best Chinese Buffet Restaurant (food & cost) around. Any time (the past 2 years) we want Chinese food we go here. Definitely HIGHLY recommend! 2????'s ☝️

Variety of delicious food. You can have your choice of fresh vegetables, pasta, thin slices of beef or chicken, and your choice of spices in a plate and watch it cooked for you in three minutes. Please do not waste and do not overeat. I try not to waste even a molecule and I leave my table clean too.

If you read the other reviews on the New Town Buffet, you will be just as confused as I was. My mom and I were looking for a good place for Chinese and she happened upon the New Town Buffet listed in a Google search. As you read through the other reviews we couldn't help laughing at the complete opposing experiences of many of the customers. Deciding to make our own decision, we headed over and arrived just before 3 pm, tea time according to their prices. The food was plentiful and while not piping hot, it was still hot. They had a variety of choices and I was able to find something I really enjoyed. The garlic green beans were especially good. I was happy to see that they had hot and sour soup and I really enjoyed it. They had a good selection of sushi and it was fresh and tasty. The highlight of our visit was the Mongolian Grill. They had lots of ingredient choices including several different types of meat. I also appreciated that they had extra chopped garlic out in case, like me, you really enjoy a lot of garlic in your food. It was cooked to perfection and even though I was full at that point, I finished my plate. It was amazing. Unlike other visitors, we did not feel like anyone was rushing us out. In fact, we realized that we had been there for over an hour and a half and our check never been handed to us. Our server kept fresh drinks on our table and quickly removed used plates. If you're looking for a good regular Chinese food experience, this will fit the bill. If you truly enjoy Mongolian Grill, you will be very pleased. Try going between 1 and 3 p.m. as we discovered that was the best time with the fewest other customers.
