Malina is an excellent server. She is so helpful, friendly and timely in serving our meals. The fajitas, ribeye, and garlic shrimp was fabulous! So glad Oke’s is back open... cabin fever was setting in!!! Thanks, Ole! God Bless!

We eat out a lot. We are military, and have eaten Mexican food all over the USA and Mexico. Our son in law is a engineer by trade, and a wonderful Mexican cook, from a traditional Mexican, and native American family. When his Mexican family comes to town, this is one of the restaurants they request, for traditional food. This food is great food, at the best prices in Tucson. I have heard the complaints about not enough food. This restaurant has good size portions. American restaurants already serve huge servings, due to Americans eating habits. . This being a border city, there are several great , authentic Mexican restaurants, this is one of them. On take out, l always check at every restaurant. It’s easy to forget things. Great job. Great service. Great food.

So, I know my picture of half eaten food is horrible BUT hear me out. This was hands down the best tasting Mexican food my wife and I have had since moving here from CA. It was so good I forgot to take a picture before devouring half of it! They were super busy but service was fast! Salsa had a little heat and good flavor. Chips weren't too bad either. My only gripe is that the coke seemed a little off. For the sake of this review, of course, we tried a few more refills. All yielding the same result. Still drinkable though.

All in all I highly recommend going here. I had the chili Colorado (bomb a$$ food) and a cheese enchilada; very tasty as well. Rice and whole beans also had great flavor. My wife also agreed that this is the best Mexican in Tucson so far.

So, what are you waiting for? Go get some grub! :)

3.5 stars is what I'd give them if I could.
The food is good, especially the bacon-wrapped shrimp. The atmosphere is cozy and yet festive and the service is prompt and polite. If you're tight on money, you may want to steer clear though. It's not REALLY expensive, but I felt like the bill was a tad steep for the actual meal itself.
Bottom line: It's a place worth checking out if you're not on a tight budget and you're not feeding a bunch of mouths.
