Used to visit 8 years ago when it was just a truck before moving out of state. It is just as great now with a standing building and just the most tremendous authentic Mexican you can get. I stop every time I visit the city

This has to be the best Mexican food in town their prices are amazing. The gentlemen tending to this place work very hard because they are super busy and the weight are not that long. The food is absolutely delicious and always fresh I encourage Anyone with an appetite for Mexican to give this place a shot it is surely an experience with no regret.

I was born and raised in Southwest New Mexico. I have been away for 41 years. I was fortunate to be able to recently visit Tuscon. In addition, I was also fortunate to visit El Nene for lunch. I Love Mexican food. This place has authentic Mexican food. It was excellent!! And, price was excellent. If you are in the Tuscon area, I would highly recommend that you schedule a stop at El Nene for lunch.

I love El Nene. This place has some of the best Mexican food around. It can be busy at times but that just shows you how popular it is and how good the food is. Even when it's busy they usually get your order to you pretty quick. The food is always great. The only downside is it's cash only but other than that, no complaints. The have a little outdoor tent with some tables and a salsa bar with plenty of delicious salsas. They also have a building with inside tables.
