This place has good beer and an OK vibe. My problem is with the menu. I came down for the Gran Fondo and they served delicious Grilled Brats. I came down today and the server said they no longer have brats due to the pandemic, which can’t be right since they had them in March. I ordered Tacos for $14. They were OK, but every restaurant in downtown Tucson serves Tacos. Bring back the Brats. Ironically a tour guide walked by and talked up the great beer and brats to his tourists. Bring back the Brats. Michigander.
Maybe a good place for an outing with friends or a date, but not a place to come alone. I have a reputation for being able to drop in and have a conversation with most. This staff seems completely dis-interested in any interaction and there are nothing but couples in sight. The beer is OK.
Great selection of craft beer. Especially enjoyed the pseudo lager. Flights come in a oak barrel stave.
During the pandemic and move-in week at UofA, good service is a very distant memory. What a breathe of fresh air to be served by professionals: knowledgeable, fast, friendly, and attentive. It’s been over year since I’ve had this level of service (and I’ve been to 4 star Michelin restaurants). Atmosphere is casual, cool and hip. Oh, the beer is tasty! Come try it out and be delighted
