First time at the boneyard and couldn’t be happier! I’ve always loved planes and I’ve always loved food as well but I’m giving this grill 3 stars not because of the chicken, salad or fries. All of that was great. It’s the fact that it’s just a cafe/snack bar which I’ve tasted before. Loved the experience and definitely see myself coming back.
Museum is amazing and the food was okay. My Caesar salad was a salad. The fruit cup was fresh. It’s more of a “snack bar” or cafe vibe but, the price doesn’t really line up. $30 for a salad, chicken strips, a side of fries, and a side of fruit. The sides were $3.50 each and in hindsight what jacked up the price. I gave 3 stars because, I’d probably come back and the atmosphere on the porch is wonderful!
The most spectacular views of hundreds of vintage airplanes out the modern windows of the cafe. Out door patio section we were treated to airplanes flying directly over head doing stunts and training at the air base next door. The food was so good that we ate there 2 days in a row. the pizza was fantastic and so were the burgers and drinks. Real nice people working there and worth the trip to visit and eat well.
Conveniently located ;) Fries were actually really good!
Great food with a killer view. If you want to enjoy a Sonoran Dog and an ice cold beer while looking out at some of the most advanced fighter aircraft in the world then you want to eat here... Love the food and I was honored to be the photographer for their Google Street View Tour. The Flight Grill at Pima Air and Space Museum.
