La Casita

I grew up on this food! I was born n Globe Az and ate at the la casita there, irenes & the delray cafe. After I moved to Oracle Az when I was a teenager the opened the one in mammoth.
It has been 7 yrs since I was there last. I live in tucson & had no car.
I not only got food for me n my 3, I also got food for my sister n her fam, spent well over 100.00, and it was still not enough! Next time I know to get more food!
My parents went to school with the owners
(& fam) of these restaurants, me n my sis grew up on this food, our children did & we introduced it to my sisters husband, my daughters husband and my sons wife, rt ima need more food lol.
BOTTOM LINE ALL THERE FOOD IS GOOD, MY FAVORITE RICE, SALSA, BURITOS.

So stop by n order some food, even if u have to get it to go, u wont be disappointed!

I took a mini road trip to the big metropolis of Mammoth Arizona just out of curiosity. After seeing the cemetery and the miners memorial I thought I would have a bite at La Casita. I’m a big burrito fanatic. I love burritos ????. I’m not much of a red meat eater so I decided on the chicken burrito. Though it was flavourful with only chicken and cheese and accompanied with some salsa I found it small by comparison to other places. No big deal. Overall the atmosphere was pleasant as was the staff and if I’m in the area again I will definitely try something different on the menu. Judging from what I saw on other people’s tables it looks great! ????☺️

Staff was very accommodating with all my questions about menu items. Service was fast! Food quality was excellent! House salsa was superb!
