Cliff Castle Casino Hotel

Nice, not so noisy casino with a few old slots left to enjoy amongst all the newer ones, and few tables. Great place for a quick visit or a short stay. Loved the fact that there was a bowling alley, arcades and a kids jungle room. Obviously a great place to include the kids as well.

Clean, courteous, and an outstanding steakhouse. Storytellers Steakhouse food was so delicious. Three NY steaks and one filet. All were cooked to perfection, seasoned mildly to allow the natural flavor to be the focus. We had zucchini, yellow squash, and herb potatoes. It was the highlight of our one night stay. Staff everywhere were great. Breakfast in the buffet was very nice; open at 7am which is when we arrived for chafing dishes filled with just made eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and more.
The teens enjoyed the arcade, but the bowling alley was reserved for leagues, but otherwise we would have bowled as well. Indoor pool and whirlpool.
Casino machines were mostly penny slots so my husband was not as interested in poking for pennies. A few table games. No poker, tho.
Were we to come back to the Camp Verde area I'd see them as a consistent, reliable property.
Highly recommend the steakhouse.
