Flew the Coop Nashville Hot Chicken Shack

We stopped here on our way to Flagstaff. Great food. Better than any fast food options at this exit. Chicken was fresh and you get too choose the spice level. French fries are unique with a special twist. Also tried the fried pickles and they were good.

The chicken was very good, fresh, and flavorful. I ordered the Coop Mac and Cheese (medium heat, pickles and sauce on the side) and the seasoning had very good flavor and the pickles just added that perfect little crunch (the hot sauce was too spicy for me). The Mac and cheese was very good as well, my daughter loved it also. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles (mild) and the flavor of that seasoning was very good as well, slightly sweet with that good heat. The waffles were fresh and delicious. All of the portions were so big and filling for the price. Great little place

Really loved this place. Stopped here on our way to Sedona. Really nice staff and customer service. Food was super tasty and fresh. The zinger basket was good size portions. I had fries with their beans and chicken on top with cheese (not sure the name of the dish as it was recommended and not on the menu) but was really delicious. The banana cream pie was a perfect end to the meal.

Fantastic food and service! We had a basket with thighs, hot, mac and cheese, beans and a slider medium with potato salad. The chicken had great crunch. It was prepared perfectly, tender and juicy. The sauce was great. The hot was quite spicy and flavorful and the medium was perfect for the wife. All the sides were delicious. The staff was friendly, patient and helpful. We will 100% be back for more!

We were staying up the road and decided to give this place a try based on the reviews and not much else to choose from. It did not disappoint. The girl behind the counter was friendly and very helpful. One of her first questions was asking if we’d ever been there and then proceeded to explain the heat levels and sides. We went the the chicken sandwich medium heat. It was plenty hot and the meal was more than enough to split but found out after we had each ordered meals. It was so worth it!! You get what you pay for here and the sides are so good. The chicken on the sandwiches were bigger than my hand spread out. I’d highly recommend this place.
