Eat here at least once every weekend I'm in Crown King.
Good people, good views and good food!
Save your money, seriously. Nice folks but $13.95 for 3 chicken tenders and uncooked fries and $15.95 for flavorless philly cheesesteak (with mushroom I might add 🤢) and again, uncooked fries is RIDICULOUS. I understand they are in the mountains but we also showed up at 12pm for them to turn us away for an hour. We came back at 1pm and they again turned us away and said come back at 2pm. We were STARVING by the time we actually got to eat. I dropped over $100 for 5 of us to eat lunch. Should've saved myself the hassle and headed out for lunch. Won't make that same mistake twice.
Stopped in Crown King on the way to Prescott via the Senators Highway. We've been to CK before but this time decided to try the Mill and we were not disappointed! The owners were very friendly and the building itself is a step back in time. The patio views are nice, so we decided to sit outside. I had the green Chile burger and she got the daily hand breaded chicken strips, both delicious! And the deep fried corn on the cob was different and awesome as well. This will probably be our spot now when we're in CK.
We just had some of the best pork tacos we’ve had in Arizona at The Mill is Crown King. Huge, tasty, and we’ll presented. The burgers are excellent hand packed patties properly cooked. Combine that with the view from the patio on a warm winter day and it’s a top three dining experience for us here in the Prescott area. Service was warm, friendly, and prompt.
