Ligurta Station Restaurant

I had my first restaurant hamburger there in 1937. I was almost 5. It was great.
Because of their help at the gas station my father always stopped when passing by.
35 years ago I moved to the Foothills. My off-road group makes a Ligurta for lunch run.
A highway over the hill trip for Breakfast is also refreshing.
I have always been pleased with the food and service.

25 cent coffee with your meal beats 2.95 at the other places. Foods not bad

Roast beef and real mashed potatoes! Others in our group tried other sandwiches. All agreed that we would return. Good food, nothing fancy.

It really is 25 cents for coffee with a meal! The chicken fried steak and eggs was excellent for the price of $12. The hash browns were cooked perfectly, golden crispy on the outside and yet not dry. The biscuit came out steaming hot. The steak and eggs were cooked as expected. I prefer breakfast gravy to be a bit thicker but the flavor was good and there was sausage in it. Service was fine but it was a very slow weekday morning. With limited seating I can imagine they could get quite busy on weekends. If this were San Diego or Phoenix I probably would have given only 4 stars but it might have cost twice as much, especially with the coffee. This meal is as good or better than at any spot for breakfast in Yuma. I'll definitely be back again and try something different.

Great break from Razor riding. Our group of 12 hungry seniors having fun happened on to this restaurant. Steve (owner) and Cash were ever so patient and accommodating to us. Separate tags and good coffee of 25 cents. Cash suggested a crust less quiche that was a special and was soooo good. Thanks for the service. ☕️🥓🍳🥇🏆
