Broken Yolk Cafe

The waitress was nice, clean and presented herself well. She gave us extra time for our selection and offered her opinion on several dishes. My wife had the sweet french toast trio and I had BLT with eggs and onion rings.
The food was timely, hot and favorable.
WE WILL RETURN.

Went at noon, very busy 20 minute wait. Food was OK had the tuna melt. I might go back and try a 1/2 lb burger. I feel that Black bear is a better value. Non Alcoholic drinks were $3-5. $12.95 was a popular meal price.

Fun, bright,festive. Visited on month anniversary. Mimosas and Bloody Mary sampler trays!Ordered Caprese Eggs Benedict. Almost worked. The southwest traditional orders would be smarter. Enjoyed very much. Wait Staff energized, and informative. $$-$$$(pending drink samplers!)

We had biscuits and gravy and steak and eggs. Both were extremely average. The gravy wasn’t very flavorful. The steak had too much fat and gristle. We tried the Bloody Mary flight ans all were not very cold and just not great.

On a positive note, the place is clean. There are usb chargers at each booth. It’s decorated well.

We likely won’t be back.

So I’ve been been waiting for this place to open since I saw the sign that they were building one here in Yuma. They did not disappoint. They were a little busy which is normal for a new business here in Yuma. My party decided to skip the line and sit at the bar which is very comfortable. The mimosa flights were delicious and our bartender/ server Fernando did an outstanding job making our drinks and making sure we were happy. They also have pomegranate carafes! I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a good brunch and great mimosa/ juice selection. We’ll be back!
