“Service was excellent. The bread pudding was to die for!!! AMAZING! The service was average. The restaurant was not busy. I ordered chicken and my partner ordered ribs. The chicken was dry and not flavorful. My partners ribs were not fall off the bone. They were tough and didn't have good flavor. In both instances we asked for sauce to dip. The salad was an add on for our meal it was good. The prices seemed much higher for the size of the food that was given. Their pricing needs to be adjusted.”

“First time! From the minute you walk in you are greeted with a smile and a Hello Welcome. Menu is great, variety of meals to choose from. Service was Excellent, wait time was legit 5-10 mins for all our food. Thankfully we had missed the lunch rush hour. Everything we did order was made perfectly . Nothing was too over seasoned nor bland it was ALL well balanced and Delicious 😋. Definitely will be returning. Price wise was a bit BUT the amount of food and the quality of what they give you; the price was 100% worth it.”

The hostess and the sever were super rude and need to learn how to provide better service it was our first time here and they didn't do a good job of making us feel welcomed. “Just paid 10 bucks for a child size wedge salad and a few strips of tri tip, should have gone to da boys for a full sized wedge that eats like a meal and has one hundred times the flavor for fifty cents more. Not my first foray there, was pleasantly surprised by the ribs on Friday, but their sides seem quite bland (Mac and cheese/potato salad). Might be the right place to eat in a few months when they’ve got their recipes down, but for now you’re not getting your moneys worth.”

“This is a local favorite. They are known for their bean and cheese burritos and rolled tacos. Locals that have moved crave this place after leaving, will have it mailed to them and or will pick it up to eat and take home when driving through. It is a quick hop off the freeway and has a drive through now. Definitely a yummy but not fancy place to eat.”

“River City Grill has some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten in my life. They are a gem within Yuma City limits and the environment inside is special. It gives you a certain nostalgic feeling that it's hard to describe but does not disappoint. This place needs some minor upgrades like a new layout inside or some additions to accommodate a better and effective lobby where people can wait for their take outs. It was pretty awkward to just wait in the bar area and see everyone work or hear the behind the scenes conversations. The design of the inside is unique but it definitely needs some upgrades to be on the same level of "fine dining."”

“This was a second chance visit as our experience a year was less than ideal. This time was completely 180° different. The service was way above expectations and the food was on point to the level of this restaurant should be. I had the sirloin steak with a salad and mashed potatoes. The steak was delicious, the mashed potatoes were real homemade style (lumps and creamy, my way). The salad was fresh and crisp not frozen. I would suggest they include a piece of their garlic bread to make it perfect. My wife had the Chicken Alfredo which she said was very tasty with a piece of garlic bread. We skipped dessert dessert since none are made in house which I suggest finding a signature on. Overall a great experience and we will check them again in the near future.”
