Ocko's Japanese Steakhouse

Went back to my hometown to see my grandma the other day and me and my girlfriend saw that they had reopened the old Cajun bistros and made it a Japanese restaurant so we had to stop! It has the whole Cajun atmosphere which kind of throws it off being a hibachi restaurant but the food was amazing and they give you a lot of it! Service was okay I think that the girl had more than one job but she did okay! It was just nice to be back in the hometown and good for them to have their own Japanese steakhouse! One other thing I want to say is the steak was real steak like the taste of it was amazing which makes me wonder what I've been eating over here at the mini hibachi steakhouses in Little Rock 🤔!

This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Stuttgart due to their amazing steak and sushi with very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Great food for this area! Prices and quality was great. NO alcohol though, so that’s a little disappointing for no pre-meal cocktail.

Food was real good the waiter was nice but the drink refills still need work. We had fried crawfish for a entree we had 3 dips ranch, yumyum sauce, chili sauce. Loved the chili sauce w/ the sweet & hot kick to it. I had the shrimp, chicken, and vegetables w/ fried rice. I enjoyed it at the new location w/ my love Tess.

I live in SE Louisiana and we have fantastic food BUT this is some of the best food I have had - anywhere! I had the grilled tuna and it was better than any steak I have eaten. Sorry about the photo - I gorged it and THEN remembered to take a photo :). The portions are large - I could not eat it all. The owner, Ocko, is a very friendly Christian man with a zest for life and food. I sat at the counter and we talked during my entire meal. Highly recommended.
