Excellent food and staff. We even got to meet Jamie, the owner. He stopped at each table to see if his customers were satisfied with the service and their meal. Will be great when they are able to find more employees and stay open longer hours!
The food was delicious! I had the ribs which were plentiful, "melt-in-your-mouth" tender, and drizzled with a tasty bbq sauce. My sweet potato fries were crisp and served with a cinnamon sugar dipping sauce that was delicious...all of that PLUS fried okra.
My wife had the open faced roast beef which was tender and much more than my wife could eat along with mashed potatoes and gravy. The others in our party had fried fish, fried shrimp, club sandwich, and chicken strips. Everyone said their meal was delicious. The service was great and our food came out quickly and hot.
Server great. Menu needs changing they need to look up what boasted means...it does not mean air fried. When a person knows what boasted means and has had it before air fried is a big disappointment restaurant was clean. Prices fair. Proportions great. Hot presented well.
The service, the appetizers, the entrees, the dessert; are worth more than the price I paid. The flavors are loud and adventurous! Nothing too salty or too bland, each meal (that I have tried so far) is completely and utterly superb. The rest of the restaurants in town better watch out! Jamie’s offers so much more in these expertly prepared meals. Even with to-go meals the care taken with the food shows in the garnish and piping hot (spinach and artichoke dip) to ice cold(salads) food. So thankful that we have such an incredible restaurant for incredible dinners in mountain home. This is a 5 star restaurant without the price. Not just good food, great food.
Jamie’s was phenomenal. The food was great, and the staff was friendly. The wait was a little bit, but we went on opening day, and it was still only 30 minutes to be seated and we had our food within another 15 minutes. The fried pickles were delicious!! I’ve had the creole blackened catfish, and it was amazing, and the southern sweet heat chicken and shrimp was awesome as well. The chocolate peanut butter cheesecake was SO GOOD!! There’s always kinks during the first few days, so have to give grace. But loved it and will be back!!
