Waldo's Chicken & Beer

The wife & I stopped by for lunch on 7/05/24 - we had the$9.99 3 piece tender, fries and coleslaw and it came with a drink-no substitutions on the special - if you wanted sauce it was .49 cents extra. The $9.99 was a good affordable lunch option. The chicken came out hot and tasty, it was a bit spicy but would probably be great with a cold beer. The fries were good maybe a tad overcooked.
The slaw looked delicious and fresh but had a sweet and slight vinegar taste . Which some people like.

Waldo’s has become one of our new favorite chicken places in the Bentonville area. We’ve had a great experience each time we’ve been. You order your food at the counter, and they bring it out to our table. The service has always been really quick. I highly recommend ordering the “Cheddar Biscuit Basket” as an appetizer. These alone are worth the trip. I love that everything is made fresh and from scratch. The OG Chicken Sandwich is really good and the fried chicken plate is excellent. The lunch crowd can be a bit busy, however there has always been seating available. There is dining options both inside or outside along with seating at the bar. The atmosphere is fun with large TV’s so you can catch a good game or just go and hang out with your family. I highly recommend you give this place a try.

Very cool place! The bartender was fantastic and the drinks were good! The greens were my favorite and why I came in. However, I had the 1/4 fried chicken white meat and the oil must have been too hot because I couldn't eat a bit of the skin on either piece. It was brown and burnt but once you got to the chicken....it was awesome! I will try the rotisserie next time as I didn't like my potato wedges either. Just the fry technique must have been off but the sauces are good! They had great management working to make everyone happy.

Overall, it was an enjoyable dinner, quick and relatively tasty. I had The O.G. and my wife had The Rotisserie chicken. We also had an extra order of the Cheddar Biscuits, which, while tasty, are really soft and are cooked like mini muffins. Personally, I like a crispy outer layer on my biscuits.

Was honored to attend their soft opening here in NWA and it did NOT disappoint! Food was made in a reasonable time and the service was first class from the time we ordered at the register to the time we left.

We grabbed fried pickles, chicken & biscuits, fried chicken plate 1/4 dark, 6 wings, and requested a sauce flight 😮‍💨
Favorite sauces: Rocket sauce, Habanero oil, comeback sauce

Favorite things: those biscuits and chicken bites!! Also, manager suggested we go back up and grab a banana pudding. Glad we did.
