The location was great, service was very good as well as the food. We really loved that the menu is completely gluten-free. For those who are not used to it for example pasta can be an acquired taste. We loved it though. Only minus is that it’s a bit price otherwise thumbs up!
Modern is not really my thing, I like a old world feel in a restaurant. But if you are a fan of modern then you will LOVE the Preachers Son. I was worried about the eclectic menu, but the food was very good and so was the service. We went downstairs for a drink after dinner in their bar, where I found my "old world" atmosphere and talented bar tenders. There is also a roof top bar when the weather allows.
This may be the best brunch I’ve ever had. Anywhere- not just locally. Our server, Abbey, was nothing short of spectacular. An added bonus- my child who has celiac could order anything off the menu, which hasn’t ever happened for her. We can’t wait to come back again! Bravo, Preacher’s Son!!!
I was excited to eat here as I had heard a lot of good things about it. The ambience and decor is fantastic and unmatched. The service was excellent and our waiter was kind and helpful throughout our dining experience. Sadly my only complaint has to do with the food. The staff I’m sure are very knowledgeable when it comes to food and where it’s sourced from, but the dishes we ordered were average especially for the price point. My wife had the gnocchi and I had the paella. The gnocchi was nothing special and by that I mean that there was no particular flavor in the dish that set itself apart. It was a bit forgettable. The paella was over salted and too greasy. The flavors from the paella were very aggressive. Also for some reason our card got charged an extra $10 on top of what it showed on our check even though we did leave gratuity on the table before we left. Overall the experience was decent. I really was wanting to enjoy it, but maybe we went on an off day.
