When I first moved to a Eureka, after living in Texas for over 4 years, I twitched on a regular basis for lack of good Tex-Mex. I simply couldn’t find my “fix” for Mexican food around here. Most of the places around lack seasoning and flavor.
However, after making a few visits to Amigos in downtown Eureka, we have learned to really enjoy this place. It’s large, it’s clean, great decor, and an awesome little patio as well.
They serve a mean margarita, and their flavors are incredible.
I just recently learned to order their Salsa Verde, and the flavor that comes from that bowl is amazing! It’s awesome on chips, and even more awesome when poured over their great chicken enchiladas!!!
Their cheese dip passes our test with thumbs up, and they have great, thin, crispy chips.
This is quickly becoming a lunch favorite for us!!!
You need to visit Amigos. They are located at 75 South Main Street in downtown... directly across from Cornerstone Bank!
Absolutely D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S-! We had sampler and the rice chicken waa great!! Tall Coke bottles my son loves!! Would travel back just to eat here!! Great service! Awesome outdoor patio!!! Great scenic backdrop. Family! Fun! Must Visit of your here! I'm getting in the car now!! Let's meet!! :-)
a decent meal at a reasonable price. wide selection of Mexican food and beverages. steady business on a Wednesday night but was still able to get a walk up table. certainly worth a look when in Eureka Springs.
Food and service was amazing. Best strawberry lemonade I’ve ever had. It’s not on the menu but she made it for me anyway! Had the combo fajitas and for the price it was the right amount of food and the shrimp and streak were both cooked and seasoned just right. Will be back for sure.
Strolling around Eureka, we picked Amigos on a whim. Nice evening so we sat outside. Our waitperson was friendly and attentive; and answered all of our questions with patience. Watched a few Harleys rumble down the street. The chips were crisp and warm; and the salsa had a nice kick to it. Enchiladas and the nightly shrimp offering were stellar. We both had two very good margaritas and had to walk them off when we were through. Nice place to mellow out and kick back. This place is worth another visit and we would go back there on our next visit to Eureka Springs. Good Mexican food is always a treat to find.
