I really enjoyed dinner here! It makes me sad that we're not local and I can't be a regular. My husband got the chicken strips, and they looked delicious. He said the chicken was tender and juicy and the breading was flavorful. I got "the only salad" with the proper dress (a sweet and tangy honey mustard vinaigrette). I got the pulled chicken on my salad. It was tender and well-seasoned. Great portion size and so good!
The only drawback for me was that if you eat in the restaurant, you have to order via your phone using a QR code on the table. It's a little odd. However, the staff was very friendly and able to answer any questions I had about the menu, including my questions about gluten free options. The owner (I believe) told me that they make sure to change gloves, wash hands, etc. to minimize cross contact for customers with allergies, and I sincerely appreciate the time and care that it takes to do that. So considerate. It made me feel like my dietary restrictions were respected and not an irritation to anyone.
So good. The fries have a good seasoning. The spicy chicken strips tasted really good and had nice flavor. I got the gravy to dip them in, it was good. The fried are great with the gravy also.
Atmosphere was great...local artwork, music and seating spread out. Service was good. The chicken tenders were juicy and flavorful. Was not impressed by the street corn....tasted like canned corn and couldn't tell there was any kind of smoke sauce, although the bacon in there was tasty. The cornbread was moist and the butter made it yummy! Overall, though, everything was a bit too salty for me....even the cornbread. I would go back for the tenders and maybe just skip the sides!
Outstanding new restaurant in Eureka.
The chicken was amazing as well as all the sides. A must try is the corn and the greens
The atmosphere was super cool and very clean
The service was on top of it!
This will definitely be a regular eats for us when in Eureka
The place is clean and well lit, brightly colored, nice art on the walls. The lack of a front counter and ordering via phone only is a bit disconcerting and feels cheap considering the prices. Many people are going to have issues using this system. Everything is self-serve mostly. They seat you and bring you the food but thats about it. The chicken strips are large and tasted good. The French fries were not cooked properly, chewy and cold, not very high end, considering the prices. This was their first day, so I’m sure many things might change in the future. If they do and my next visit, if I visit, I’ll be sure to update this review or leave another one.
